World Conflict List

The National Defense Council Foundation has discontinued the World Conflict List as it has been done in past years... because conflict has become asymmetrical. Our interview by World-wide Associated Press was published on 29 December 2003 explaining NDCF's position on the future of warfare. Terrorist organizations disregard boundaries, hence solely counting state to state conflicts, or internal state conflicts leaves the total count incomplete/inaccurate.
Previous World Conflict Lists for 1997-2002 will remain available on our Web site and may be accessed at the links above.
